Fresh off the disciplinary committee's challenge, student council president Medaka Kurokami is pulled into the school's secret Flask Plan, run from Class 13 with its handpicked group of Abnormals. Alongside Zenkichi Hitoyoshi and the rest of the council, Medaka learns that the plan treats Hakoniwa Academy's students as material for engineering perfect humans. This second season turns the earlier comedy into a run of duels against opponents whose abilities far outstrip ordinary students.
