Synopsis
After a catastrophe turns Japan into the scorching Great Kanto Desert, a seventeen-year-old mercenary named Kanta Mizuno makes his living taking handyman jobs across the sands. His skill and nerve have earned him the nickname Sunabouzu, the Desert Punk, but his lechery is an open weakness, and the scheming Junko Asagiri exploits it to bend his jobs to her own ends. Episodes follow Kanta from one mercenary contract to the next as rival handymen, bounties, and Junko's manipulations pile up around him.
