Synopsis
Michiru Kita has the Shinigami Eyes, which let her see a ring around the neck of anyone close to death, darkening as the end nears. She notices that two classmates, Chika Akatsuki and Shito Tachibana, wear pitch-black rings yet are still alive: the pair survived a fatal accident by borrowing time from Zombie-Loan, and now hunt zombies to repay the debt. Once they learn what Michiru can see, they recruit her to help track down the dead who refuse to stay dead.
