In this feature film, Touma Kamijou and Index befriend Arisa Meigo, an aspiring singer chosen as the public face of Endymion, a space elevator nearing completion in Academy City. When magicians led by Stiyl Magnus suddenly target Arisa, Touma realizes she sits at the center of something far larger than a publicity campaign, and that the towering elevator itself may hold a purpose no one in the city suspects.
