Synopsis
Kiyo Takamine, a sullen fourteen-year-old prodigy, takes in Zatch Bell, a Mamodo child his father found unconscious in an English forest with no memory of his own world. Zatch is one of a hundred Mamodo sent to Earth to fight for the throne of their world; each pairs with a human who reads spells from the Mamodo's book, fueling them with their own emotions. A book burned means defeat. Determined to become a kind king, Zatch fights alongside Kiyo to win without cruelty.
