University student Sorawo Kamikoshi finds a doorway into the Otherside, a parallel world stitched together from internet creepypasta and urban legends, and nearly dies on her first crossing. She is pulled out by Toriko Nishina, a young woman handy with a gun who is searching the Otherside for a friend named Satsuki who vanished there. The two begin venturing back in together, hauling out artifacts for a researcher named Kozakura while the place's monsters and anomalies start to leave their mark on them.
