Synopsis
In a near-future Japan where androids are common household help, high-school pianist Rikuo notices odd entries in the activity log of his family's android, Sammy, including the line 'Are you enjoying the Time of EVE?' With his friend Masaki, he tracks the phrase to a hidden cafe where a single rule applies: no distinguishing humans from robots. This feature film recompiles and extends the original ONA, following Rikuo's encounters with the cafe's regulars as the androids' quiet flickers of independence unsettle his assumptions.
