Bundled with limited editions of the manga, these Food Wars! shorts follow the Tootsuki Culinary Academy cast away from the main competition. In one, Takumi and Isami Aldini go into downtown Tokyo with the Polar Star girls for monjayaki and end up in a cooking duel with a stubborn old regular who writes the Italian brothers off as outsiders. In the other, the students scatter for summer break before the Autumn Election, with Erina Nakiri, Alice and Ryou at a public pool and the Polar Star crowd at a lake. The episodes sit alongside the TV series rather than serve as an entry point.
