Honda, a bookstore clerk drawn as a uniformed skeleton, narrates the daily chaos of working the manga department of a Japanese shop. Each short episode tackles one corner of the job: handling publisher reps, wrangling author signings, and fielding the demands of foreign otaku, BL fans, and the occasional intimidating customer. The series is an autobiographical comedy based on the author's own years behind the counter.
