On a terraformed Mars run by the aerospace giant Kirishina Corporation, the elite A-TEC class spends its days both studying and building experimental rocket engines. When the corporation tires of funding the program, it transfers in Nagisa Kiryu, a coldly efficient young manager sent to gut the class from the inside. Teacher Kaito Sera and student Mizuki Sera push back as A-TEC fights to keep its workshop and its rocket project alive against the company's accountants.
