Synopsis
At a festival honoring the legendary Aura Guardian Sir Aaron, Ash Ketchum wins a tournament and is handed Aaron's old staff, where his own aura unseals the Pokémon Lucario after a thousand-year sleep. When a curious Mew whisks Pikachu away to the distant Tree of Beginning, Ash, his friends, and the treasure hunter Kidd set out after them, with the bitter Lucario in tow. This feature film draws on Aaron's history and the bond between trainer and Pokémon.
