Synopsis
In 2199, Earth has been bombed into a radioactive ruin by the Garmillas Empire, and the survivors shelter in underground cities. With a year left to live, humanity receives plans for a faster-than-light engine from the distant planet Iscandar, where a device that can heal the planet awaits. Ace pilot Susumu Kodai joins the crew of the Yamato, built inside the hull of the sunken battleship, for a voyage across hostile space. This is a modern remake of the 1974 original.
