In this short OVA, the Saiyan warrior Bardock survives the destruction of Planet Vegeta and is hurled back in time to a primitive world. Mistaking the tyrant Chilled, an ancestor of Frieza, for his old enemy, Bardock fights to defend the locals who shelter him, among them the village doctor Ipana and his son Berry. A side story spun off from the Dragon Ball saga, separate from the main series timeline.
