Synopsis
William Twining, a sharp-minded aristocrat at an English boarding school in the 1880s, searches his family's cellar for hidden money after a sudden bankruptcy and instead summons the demon Dantalion. Dantalion names William an Elector — the descendant of Solomon who can choose the interim ruler of Hell while Lucifer rests. A committed rationalist, William refuses to believe in any of it, even as Dantalion enrolls at his school and rival candidates Sytry and Camio close in.
