Synopsis
This second season of Rewrite picks up from where the first left off, following Kotarou Tennouji as he drifts through timelines and wakes in a ruined, deserted Kazamatsuri with only the silent Kagari for company. Tasked with protecting Kagari, the Key to humanity's survival, Kotarou is caught between two factions with opposite plans for the world: Gaia, who would destroy it, and Guardian, who would destroy the Key. The season adapts the visual novel's Moon and Terra routes.
