Tatsumi, a high schooler living alone in his late grandfather's house, takes in a merman named Wakasa whose own waters have grown too polluted to live in, and gives him the bathtub. Carefree and clueless about human customs, Wakasa treats the place as his own, soaks up Tatsumi's hospitality and drags him into the water at every chance. Tatsumi takes it in stride, fretting mostly about the rising water and gas bills. A revolving cast of other sea creatures, including the octopus Takasu and the jellyfish Mikuni, keeps crowding into the tiny bathroom across these short episodes.
