Fifteen-year-old Kaho Nikaido leaves her sheltered home to move into a high school dormitory, and nearly gets hit by a truck before a boy named Kanade Takahashi pulls her clear. She falls for her rescuer on the spot and confesses, only to learn that the tall, blunt Kanade is the dormitory owner's son and a fifth grader. Kaho decides to date him anyway, and the two navigate a relationship complicated by their gap in age alongside the dorm's eccentric residents.
