Utawarerumono: The False Faces

A man wakes alone on a frozen plain with no memory of who he is, and is saved from a monstrous insect by Kuon, a girl with animal ears and tail who names him Haku. Frail in body but quick of mind, Haku travels with Kuon to her village and then toward the capital, drawn step by step into the wider land of Yamato. This second Utawarerumono anime continues the franchise with a new amnesiac lead rather than the original protagonist.
