A Child's Time

Twenty-three-year-old Daisuke Aoki begins his first job teaching Class 3-1 at Futatsubashi Elementary School, where nine-year-old Rin Kokonoe declares herself his girlfriend and pursues him with provocative persistence. Aoki brushes off her advances as a child's game until they grow bold enough to unsettle him, and he starts to suspect that Rin's behavior traces back to a troubled home life with her late mother and her guardian cousin Reiji. His classroom becomes a daily test of how to handle a student he cannot reach in any ordinary way.
