When mysterious cards rain from the sky, Dan Kuso and his friend Shun Kazami turn them into a game built around Bakugan, marble-like creatures that spring open into monsters in battle. Dan, partnered with the Pyrus Dragonoid called Drago, forms the Bakugan Battle Brawlers with Runo, Marucho, Julie, Shun, and Alice. Their games soon prove to be more than play, as the friends are pulled into the conflict over Vestroia, the Bakugan's home dimension.
