Synopsis
Two realms share an uneasy balance: the Kingdom of Light on a floating island in the sky and the Kingdom of Darkness on the ground below. After monsters spilling from that imbalance wipe out his village, a young man accepts a dying knight's offer to take his place and rise as the Prince of Darkness. Above him, Queen Iris channels the Progenitor Rune to hold the line of Light, even as the King of Darkness lets his own duty lapse. The anime adapts an arc from the Shironeko Project mobile game.
