Synopsis
Leina Vance, heiress to the noble Vance family, walks away from her inheritance to live as a wandering warrior like her late mother. On the road she crosses paths with the bandit-hunter Risty and the traveling fighter Tomoe, and learns of the Queen's Blade, a combat tournament held every four years to crown the realm's next queen. Bound for the capital Gainos to enter the contest, Leina sets out to prove herself with a blade rather than a title. This first TV season opens the series.
