In the summer of 1999, Maya Kumashiro returns to Waldstein Academy, the occult-focused school her late father ran, despite her own loathing for the supernatural he loved. There she meets Fumiaki Uchida, a man sent back from 2012 to stop an alien invasion he claims will doom the world, and who needs an artifact called the Nostradamus Key to prevent it. Skeptical but cornered by the strange deaths and phenomena around the school, Maya joins Fumiaki to hunt the Key before the prophesied catastrophe arrives.
