Amu Hinamori carries on as the Guardians' Joker alongside her three Guardian Characters, Ran, Miki, and Su, who help her chara-change in pursuit of her would-be self. As the Easter Company keeps corrupting people's Heart's Eggs into X Eggs, Amu's job is to find and purify them while the search for the wish-granting Embryo continues. This second TV season picks up directly from the first and introduces a new opponent, Lulu de Morcerf, who twists dreams into ? Eggs of her own.
