Nico Wakatsuki, a first-year high school student and the prophesied Witch of a Thousand Years, moves in with her childhood friend Morihito Otogi—an ogre whose family has served as familiar to hers for generations. Morihito takes his guardian role seriously, but Nico's experimental spells, cast with more enthusiasm than precision, turn their daily life into a parade of magical mishaps that draw classmates, rival witches, and other supernatural neighbors into their orbit.
