Grotesque creatures called Others drop from the sky to eat people, and the Other Suppression Force trains psionics to put them down. Yuito Sumeragi enlists after an OSF squad saved him as a child, using psychokinesis to hurl anything loose at the enemy, while Kasane Randall, scouted as a prodigy, fights with blades she keeps in the air around her. Their first deployments push both recruits toward the question of where that power came from and what is really behind the attacks. The anime adapts the action game of the same name.
