Ao Fukai is a thirteen-year-old boy raised on the Okinawan island of Iwato by Dr. Toshio Fukai, his mother Eureka having vanished a decade earlier. When the organization Secret attacks the island's Scub Coral, Ao stumbles into the cockpit of the Nirvash, a mecha that once belonged to Eureka, and activates it. Joining Team Pied Piper of the mercenary group Generation Bleu, he flies the Nirvash against the Secrets while searching for his missing mother.
