Yukitaka Tsutsui moves into a new apartment to start high school and chase baseball, only to find a stranger already living there: a stranded alien who claims amnesia. The intruder is in fact Baka Ki El Dogra, the runaway crown prince of the Dogra planet, a genius who delights in tormenting everyone around him with elaborate pranks. As other alien factions take an interest in Earth, the prince's schemes keep dragging Tsutsui into one absurd episode after another.
