In the winter city of Yanagihara, three lives unfold in parallel. Takashi Haneda dreams of escaping to a fantasy land called Gretagard but stays tethered by his sister Kobato and his girlfriend Asuka. Shuusuke Chitose, a broke part-timer, is forced to work alongside the prickly student-writer Hiyoko. The antisocial handyman Hayato Narita has his routine upended when a girl named Naru turns up. A mysterious radio voice, DJ Condor, narrates over the three threads.
