Kanaka Amaya bumps into Ayuko Uehara on the way to school and knocks her ice cream to the ground, and the accident turns into a friendship. Together with the tall, athletic but unmotivated Saki Iwasawa, the three first-years drift through high-school days where nothing much happens: trading nicknames, racing to the classroom, and ribbing one another between classes. Told in very short episodes, it stays squarely on the small, idle moments of their everyday routine.
