Sora Naegino travels from Japan to California to audition for the Kaleido Stage, the dazzling circus-theater she fell in love with as a child. She arrives late and misses the tryout, but a last-minute injury to a performer hands her an unexpected shot to prove herself. Determined to earn a place, Sora trains under the stage's reigning star Layla Hamilton and alongside performers like Ken Robbins and Anna Heart, working through trapeze and acrobatics toward the spotlight.
