Synopsis
Sword-wielding shrine maidens called Toji defend Japan from hostile spirits known as aradama, training at five girls-only schools and serving as a special arm of the police. Kanami Etō travels to a national tournament with her friend Mai Yanase, where the winner earns a place among the elite Toji. There she crosses paths with Hiyori Juujō, and the meeting upends what Kanami believed about her duty and the institutions behind it.
