Seventeen-year-old Hibiki passes out during an online game and wakes up inside the Elite Reeducation Academy, a facility for so-called net addiction that runs more like a prison than a clinic. His mother has committed him there until he turns eighteen, and the staff enforce discipline harshly. Worn down, Hibiki falls under the sway of Shin, a fellow student who promises to toughen him up. The donghua adapts Li Xiaonan's Chinese manhua and is set against China's real net-rehab camps.
