Synopsis
In Heartland City, hot-blooded grade-schooler Yuma Tsukumo dreams of becoming the best Duel Monsters duelist despite losing nearly every match. During a duel with the rising ace Ryoga "Shark" Kamishiro, a glowing being named Astral appears only to Yuma and guides him to victory. Astral has lost his memories, scattered across powerful Number cards that corrupt whoever holds them. Together they hunt the Numbers, drawing the attention of the card-hunting Kite Tenjo as the two learn to fuse their power through ZEXAL.
