On Naral Island, energetic adventure-school student Yulia "Yusha" Chardiet trains with her party: the priest Seira, the warrior Fai and the mage Mei. Their goal is to defeat the Demon Lord menacing the Kingdom of Lapanesta. When the girls' sealing spell backfires, it flings the Demon Lord into the past as a small girl. Now calling herself Mao, she takes a teaching post at Yusha's school, scheming to get the would-be hero expelled before she can ever rise to the title.
