Synopsis
On a distant blue-skinned world, an alien pop band — keyboardist Octave, guitarist Arpegius, drummer Baryl, and bassist Stella — is abducted by a record producer, disguised as humans, and rebranded on Earth as the chart-topping group The Crescendolls. Shep, a space pilot in love with Stella, chases the kidnappers across the galaxy to bring the four home. Told entirely without dialogue, this feature film plays out as a wordless animated companion to Daft Punk's album Discovery, with Leiji Matsumoto's designs carrying the story through music alone.
