Nozomu Itoshiki, the relentlessly despairing homeroom teacher whose name reads as "zetsubou" when written sideways, returns to wrangle the eccentric girls of Class 2-H. Across these short OAD episodes he spirals into gloom over everyday trivialities while students like the hyper-positive Kafuka Fuura and the painfully literal Kiri Komori spin each gag into absurdity. Bundled with the limited editions of the manga's later volumes, this is a supplementary OAD continuation of the Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei TV series, not a standalone entry point.
