Junichi Asakura lives on the crescent-shaped island of Hatsunejima, where cherry trees bloom all year and are said to grant heartfelt wishes. He shares a home with his adoptive sister Nemu, with whom he has grown unexpectedly close, and he carries small inherited gifts: he can see other people's dreams and conjure sweets by magic. His quiet routine breaks when his childhood friend Sakura Yoshino returns from America to hold him to a promise they made as children.
