Nami leaves the Straw Hats and sails home to the Conomi Islands, where Luffy and the crew learn she has been serving the fish-man pirate Arlong, drawing charts under his control. This TV special condenses and remakes the original Arlong Park arc, framed as Nami looking back on it after the time-skip. It follows the deal that binds her to Arlong and the fortune she is scraping together to buy her village out from under him.
