Synopsis
Yumi Fukuzawa is an unremarkable first-year at Lillian Girls' Academy, a Catholic school in Tokyo where older students mentor younger ones as their soeur, or "sister." When Sachiko Ogasawara, one of the academy's most admired girls, offers Yumi her rosary, Yumi is drawn into the Yamayuri Council that oversees student life. Alongside fellow newcomers and council members like Yoshino and Shimako, she navigates the school's quiet rituals and the bonds between paired sisters.
