Synopsis
Yomiko Readman is a substitute teacher and obsessive bibliophile who works secretly for the British Library's Special Operations Division under the codename The Paper, able to bend and weaponize any sheet of paper. When she buys a rare first edition, she is attacked by superpowered clones of historical figures, the I-jin, who want the handwritten sheet music hidden in its pages. The music belongs to a lost Beethoven work that kills anyone who hears it, and Yomiko is drawn into stopping the people rebuilding it. This is the three-part OVA.
