Synopsis
Kai Ichinose grows up in a red-light district but slips into the nearby forest at night to play an abandoned piano only he can coax sound from. When transfer student Shuhei Amamiya — son of a celebrated pianist and raised on rigorous lessons — is dared to play that same forest piano, the two boys meet over the instrument. Their music teacher Sosuke Ajino, a retired master pianist, recognizes Kai's untrained gift and pushes him toward formal training. This is the 2007 feature film adaptation.
