Yu and his hot-tempered friend Haru rush to help their childhood friend Kotona after a hooded attacker stabs her, and the emergency throws the two boys into a parallel world where everyone they know has a counterpart. Yu, who uses a wheelchair at home, can walk there; Kotona is nowhere to be found; and the kingdom of Evermore has a princess, Astrid, who wears her face. This animated film is set in the world of the game series but tells a standalone story.
