Synopsis
High-schooler Yu and his hot-tempered friend Haru rush to help their childhood friend Kotona after a hooded attacker stabs her, and the rescue flings the two boys into Ni no Kuni, a parallel world where everyone they know has a counterpart. As Yu falls for Kotona's double, the princess Astrid and the kingdom of Evermore draw the friends into the other world's troubles. This animated film is set in the game series' world but tells a standalone story.
