On her sixteenth birthday, high-schooler Aya Mikage learns she is the reincarnation of Ceres, a tennyo whose stolen celestial robe once stranded her on Earth and bound her to the Mikage line. As Ceres begins to surface within her, the family marks Aya for death and turns on her twin brother Aki. She is taken in by Suzumi Aogiri and Suzumi's brother-in-law Yuhi, while the silent Toya, a Mikage servant with no memory of his past, is sent after her. Aya must master what Ceres is becoming before her own family destroys them both.
