Synopsis
Yato is a minor god with no shrine and no worshippers, scraping by on five-yen jobs as he dreams of building a name for himself. When high schooler Hiyori Iki shoves him out of the path of a bus, she is hit instead, and her soul starts slipping loose from her body. To set things right, Yato takes on a new sacred weapon in the form of Yukine, a sharp-tongued young spirit, and the three become tangled in the quiet, dangerous business of gods and the dead.
