Synopsis
Buntarou Mori is a withdrawn transfer student who keeps everyone at arm's length until a classmate dares him to climb the outside of the school building. The ascent leaves him hooked, and he throws himself into mountaineering with the same solitary intensity he brings to everything else. Pushing from the climbing club toward ever more dangerous peaks, Buntarou sets his sights on K2, one of the deadliest mountains on earth. The manga draws loosely on the life of real Japanese climber Buntarou Katou.
