Shizuku Mizutani cares about nothing but grades until she is sent to deliver class handouts to Haru Yoshida, a classmate who decked another student on the first day and has not shown up since. Haru latches onto her as his first real friend and bluntly declares his feelings, dragging the coldly practical Shizuku into a relationship she never planned for. Around them, a small circle of equally awkward classmates forms as both learn how to deal with other people for the first time.
