Miko Yotsuya is an ordinary high schooler who suddenly starts seeing grotesque ghosts and spirits crowding the spaces around her, in classrooms, on buses, even under her own bed. Realizing that the apparitions leave her alone as long as they think she can't perceive them, she settles on a single survival rule: never react, no matter how horrifying the thing in front of her. She keeps up the act through daily life while quietly working to shield her cheerful best friend Hana from the same horrors.
