Taiki Inomata is a middling member of the boys' badminton team at the sports-focused Eimei High School, where his early-morning practices keep overlapping with Chinatsu Kano, the star of the girls' basketball team and the upperclassman he quietly admires. When Chinatsu's parents move abroad and she ends up living under the Inomata roof, the crush Taiki has kept to himself collides with the daily routine of sharing a home. He resolves to chase the national tournament so the gap between them shrinks on the court as well as off it.
