Synopsis
Satoru Fujinuma is a struggling 29-year-old manga artist who lives with an involuntary power he calls "Revival," which snaps him back a few minutes in time whenever a death is about to happen nearby, letting him intervene. When he is framed for a murder close to home, Revival hurls him eighteen years into the past, into his own grade-school body in 1988. There Satoru recognizes the killing as the start of a string of child abductions and sets out to save the first victim, his withdrawn classmate Kayo Hinazuki, before the past repeats.
